Travel Funds

I have opened a funding opportunity on Contribute to the Cause. For the festivals I have attended in the past, I have used my own funds, but this time I don’t have enough to buy an international plane ticket AND pay tuition to soundSCAPE.

If you are able and willing, please contribute HERE.

I will be attending soundSCAPE as a composer-auditor which means I won’t have my own private composition lessons, but I will get to sit in on every one else’s (some festivals only have group lessons, anyway) and instead of writing a piece before the festival, I’ll be writing a piece at the festival (it’s part of a class). I’m also saving $600 bucks off of tuition. It’s an awesome deal.

soundSCAPE

I’ve been accepted to attend soundSCAPE this year!! I’m very excited to go back to Italy and meet some new people. One of my pieces was performed by Made of Win at last year’s soundSCAPE festival. No, I don’t have a recording, sorry!

I’m frantically searching for grants, and I’m hoping I won’t have to set up an indiegogo campaign in order to go. But just in case you came across this post and are able to help me attend this festival (which, including tuition, plane tickets, and train tickets, will cost well over $3K), you can donate to me via pay pal using ekbayer@gmail.com

Orange Theatre Group Benefit

I am honored to have participated in the benefit concert for Orange Theatre Group earlier this month. The whole party took place in the basement of the Phoenix Center for the Arts, where Orange had transformed the entire space into an indoor garden. With real sod and grass. It was unforgettable. You can donate to Orange Theatre and support their spring show HERE.

Berklee Robot Jam

I played a very small role in the October 9th Berklee Robot Jam. Check it out here.
